once he emerged from the dark and stifling matilda williams-Smith's home for the aged and orphanage, rex planet was ready to show the world what he could do.
Enter primitive pictures production.
primitive pictures production was A place where he could expel all his creative energy. whether it was in music, films or print, primitive pictures production (3p) would be the perfect outlet for him, surrounded by competent talent who would make him look good.

3p was founded in 1973 by rex planet , A chivalrous, courteous, Uncommited, Daydreaming, honorable Wasted Talent of a man.
a poor but mindful man. a bit of a Beatnik. a man who would run to the store for you to purchase a loaf of bread and then use the change to produce a movie about a dwarf that terrorizes a convent. An Unrealized Genius who produces a variety of mediocre to sub-mediocre short movies and questionable music.
A man who would scream , "Always be specific and never spit in the pacific" every time he had pay the people at 3p.

we could go on about things like the big snit ,his many film failures and his questionable musical talent, And we will.
Take a look around. take your time we're not going anywhere. though rex may be gone (missing. Not dead.), through this website, his mediocre achievements will live on as long as someone keeps paying the hosting fees for this site.

Rex Planet is primitive pictures production.
He writes, directs, produces, composes music for 3p and his band the Lost Planet Marauders. AND it turns out he happens to be the biggest jerk this side of Neptune.
Yes Rex manages everything at 3p using only his "stunning intellect and resourceful personality". HIS WORDS.
I recently had the opportunity to meet with Rex at the ruins of the fourth primitive pictures production building.
So here they are some excerpts from the bertrum f. rongulegetum article in UM and AARGH magazine .

AP - Why are you so sure that there’s no link between enjoying movie violence and enjoying real violence?

RP - There's no popcorn involved with real violence.

AP - why did you premiere your short film "life among the bushmen" at the buffalo, wyoming KMart?

RP - I needed a VHS player. they were the only ones that carried them.

AP - What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?.

RP - That would be my early years as an inspiration to left handed ball players.

AP - Did you get a lot of reaction to that Super Bowl commercial?

RP - Oh yeah! i received several calls from Idaho and New Wales.

AP - Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to media about their sexuality?

RP - I don't know. I don't talk to the media. or celebrities.

AP - How many languages do you speak?

RP - I don't speak languages. I only speak dialects.

AP - If you could have a change of name, what would your new name be?

RP - Orb Terrene

AP - If you could pass on one message to your fans, what message would that be?

RP - Hey. It's only a joke.

AP - How much longer do you plan to continue making product?

RP - probably at least another 525960 minutes.

AP - Are you still considered the fat guy when you go to a party?”

RP - No. No more. Now it's "hey!. there's that guy again. how'd he get in here?".

AP - Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?

RP - No. I just passed it before this interview.

AP - Were you the right man to write the script, but the wrong man to make the film?”

RP - Actually I was the right man to sweep up afterwards but not the right man to make vanilla ice cream.

And so it went. The rest of the interview was rude and for the most part incoherent. I guess that's genius for you. At least that's what Rex Planet says. A lot.
